We dropped in for a beer after an energetic bush walk. The atmosphere and layout of the venue was definitely an awakening as I had not been to the Commercial for some years. We stayed until we decided to grab a pizza for dinner. This pizza has to be one of the most well constructed and presented to me EVER. It was honest culinary art. It was very high level and to the chef I offer my greatest admiration. It was dynamic and very satisfying. Thank you to all the staff. We enjoyed our time there on that Friday night. Cheers

Absolute 5 star gem! We stayed at The Commercial Hotel in Nerang for four nights while exhibiting at the WIOA Conference at Carrara, home of the Gold Coast Suns, just seven minutes down the road. From the moment we arrived, everything was first class. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between classic pub charm and modern, comfortable accommodation. The rooms were spotless, the beds were super comfortable, the staff were genuinely welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A huge bonus for us was the parking. We travelled up from Melbourne towing our horse float, which doubles as our mobile water treatment demonstration unit, and there was plenty of room to park it with no stress at all. If you're travelling with a trailer, caravan or larger vehicle, you'll appreciate the space. Now, let's talk about the food. Head Chef Natalie (aka Nat the Chicken Wing Whisperer) deserves a special mention. Those chicken wings should come with a warning... they're seriously addictive. And the prawn & chorizo pizza? Quite possibly one of the best I've ever had. If Nat isn't entering the next season of MasterChef, she should at the very least be awarded Employee of the Month! We'll definitely be back next year for the WIOA Conference... and hopefully even sooner if Carlton comes north to take on the Gold Coast Suns. Great accommodation, fantastic food, brilliant staff, loads of parking and outstanding value. Five stars all the way. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing Venue so relaxing great energy great customers the staff and service was beyond. The food was so yummy. I come here weekly, great prices really good location so Central. I couldn’t recommend it more.

I just wanted to share a really positive experience. The place itself is great as it is our local pub but what really makes it stand out is Mick in the gaming room. He’s always there with a smile, ready with a joke, and creates such a welcoming and fun atmosphere. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it makes a big difference to the overall vibe. Keep up the awesome work, Mick!

Stayed the night after day at footy. Approx $17 uber to Carrara Stadium. Room is great - awesome shower! Water bottles in fridge and cold glasses appreciated. Spacious room. Had a little flutter on pokies when we returned - first time player ! Had a steak for dinner in restaurant- ordered rare and got it nicely done. This meal I ordered with veg - really nice however a little small. Husband had a Parma and enjoyed it. A great location if wanting to be close by the stadium - a very good experience

We spent this evening having a late dinner with the family. All the food was delicious, great portion sizes and left us all very satisfied. The young man, Stephen that was working like an absolute superstar made our night even more lovely with his friendly, warm personality and charming demeanour. He was on top of everything, and made sure the patrons were happy, the room was clean and the service fast. A huge 5/5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for Stephen! Add in the yummy food and it’s 5 stars all around. Keep it up guys! (You’ll need a never ending supply of that beef brisket 🥩)

One of the waitstaff - Josh, was absolutely amazing! When he served us he informed us that the wait time was an hour and during our wait he checked in on us and offered us drinks when we were getting close to the hour mark. He was very polite and overall a great customer service member! Hope he gets the recognition he deserves because he was phenomenal 🌟🌟🌟

Right in the heart of Nerang, The Commercial Hotel Nerang is an absolute gem just off the M1 and ticks every box for a top tier local. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with genuine, friendly service that instantly sets the tone. The staff here are consistently warm, attentive, and make you feel like a regular from the get-go. The menu is packed with variety, catering to all tastes, and delivers where it counts. The lamb cutlets are a standout perfectly cooked and full of flavour and the bacon and cheese bread is an easy crowd favourite. Even better, everything is well priced, so you get quality without the sting. Ice-cold beers, seriously good food, and a well set-up gaming room round out the experience, making it a spot you can settle into and enjoy. Add in plenty of parking, a bus stop right out front, and a genuinely family friendly atmosphere, and you’ve got a venue that’s as convenient as it is enjoyable. This place isn’t just good it’s one you’ll keep coming back to.

One of the best pubs on the Gold coast. As a local, born and bred, this is an outstanding pub. The staff are welcoming, food is exceptional, always perfectly cooked steak, and as my son says the "best Schnitzel place". Great value, affordable food, have been coming here for many years, and will continue to. No pic of food, as attached, it never goes back with something on the plate.
